Pond's Towelettes And A Money-Saving Coupon

I recently had the opportunity to try Pond's Wet Cleansing Towelettes in Original Clean. Ponds sent me a 30 towelette pack and asked me to write my honest opinion of this product.

I opened the pack and the first thing I noticed was how soft they were. Then I used one to clean off my eye makeup, mascara and all. Wow! Without scrubbing or irritating my eyes, it wiped away all traces of my makeup.
I still had clean areas on the towelette, so I used the rest of it to cleanse my entire face. I can honestly say that after ONE use, I could see a difference in my skin.

The Original Clean Towelettes are infused with Triple Tea Antioxidant Complex, Chamomile and Vitamin E. How could it not be good for your skin? The entire month I used the towelettes, I had not one breakout. Not one. Now that is a deep clean. It was a sad day when my towelettes were all gone. Not to worry, though, because Ponds has a coupon for $1.50 off your purchase. The Original Clean Towelettes retail for $4.79-$5.07 at most stores. Try them out today! And don't forget your coupon!

Funky Monkey Snacks: A Yummy Review

I recently had the opportunity to try out Funky Monkey Snacks. These snacks are not only healthy, they are delicious! Unlike other dried fruit snacks, Funky Monkey Snacks are gluten-free, dairy-free and wheat-free, which are perfect for people with food allergies. These are also perfect for a vegan or raw food diet.

There are 3 servings of fruit in every package. No added sugar, sweetener, artificial flavors, colors or preservatives either, which means that what you are getting is simply pure flavor and pure taste.

Although they are in a small package, they pack a powerful punch. There are four different flavors to choose from:

Bananamon: Freeze-dried bananas and organic cinnamon (my fave!)
Carnaval Mix: Banana, pineapple, apple, papaya and raisins
Jivealime: Pineapple and organic lime juice
Purple Funk: Organic banana and Acai

The flavors are a mixture of sweet, sour and crunchy, which I found unique and very, very yummy. My son, Monkey, who is six ate them up. So did I.

What I like about them is that they are a convenient, healthy snack for those of us on the go! They are also quite satisfying. I have heard some say that they are expensive. I disagree. They are no more expensive that buying fast food through the drive-through for your hungry kiddos or buying those other sugar-filled "fruit" snacks at the grocery store.

I give Funky Monkey Snacks two thumbs up!!

Aurora Photo Editing Software Review

Due to my interest in photography, I was offered the chance to review Aurora, photo editing software by Lightcrafts. I downloaded the software, which has been touted by different reviewers as a "powerfully simple photo management software".

I found it to be powerfully boring and and also a sheer test of my patience. The download process, for me anyway, was tedious and slow. When I started up the program, it took a while to get to a point where I could actually view and edit my photos. It automatically uploads the photo files and folders, but it seemed to take forever.

Aurora is simple to use. It sharpens and softens images, adjusts the colors and more. The main thing that I found it good for was to brighten underexposed images.

I usually do not give a negative review on a product without adding a list of good things about it as well, but in this case, I am sort of stuck as to what to list as a "positive".

Lightcrafts sells the Aurora software at a cost of $19.95, yet there are many other photo editing websites and programs which do the exact same thing and much, much, more for free.

My advice? Save your hard earned cash.
